Ingredients:
- Chicken pieces
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cups Zinfandel wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, then brown in butter over medium heat until golden.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 40 minutes.
- In the same pan, reduce wine by half, then add heavy cream and simmer until sauce thickens.
- Strain the sauce, then pour over the baked chicken to serve.
