Chicken in Creamy Wine Sauce with Sides

Ingredients:

  • Chicken pieces
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups Zinfandel wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then brown in butter over medium heat until golden.
  3. Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 40 minutes.
  4. In the same pan, reduce wine by half, then add heavy cream and simmer until sauce thickens.
  5. Strain the sauce, then pour over the baked chicken to serve.
